I have a loose set of oem cats I can loan for the day, and a Motiv pressure bleeding system for those who want to bleed their brakes.

I may also bring a coil plug kit to look at or perhaps even install if it works out.

Anybody happens to have an SD2? Willing to pay for time on it to adjust the PIS on my f1 system.

Oh, and we'll be showing off the latest and greatest Gothspeed exhaust system!

    Cheers

I had mine many many years ago, installed it but had some misfiring issues with it. I think it is due to some crosstalk in the wiring harness. I've taken it out since, and have meaning to redo the harness. I'll see if I can do so in the next few weeks.

Bring your system si we can compare notes.

Cool! Same here. I think I have the DIS 4 plus withi 8 denso cops which actually fit underneath the spark plug cover on the valve cover. I also have the tach adapter wired in, but not sure if i need that or not.

    OK great
I know the wire harness must be 100% correct and protected from RF

We'll get them sorted for sure

Tim and Alex have you consulted with cribbj? He worked out the bugs for the 550. We are talking "work of art!"

If I finish rebuilding my A/C compressor this weekend I'll bring it along if Carl still has his tank of R12 and I can buy a few pounds from him.

Bruce, was I supposed to get a package from you? Haven't seen anything in the mail, but I'll bring some blank chips and equipment with me if we need to make some. We should be able to compile enough baseline info to make this the summer of 2.7 chip tuning and massive HP gains, lol.

Maybe start a tools list in this thread if people are going to do stuff but don't have tools. My R12 tank was sold but I got the manifold gauge set to charge it. Lets start early in the session to suck it down for as long as possible.

Thanks, I don't have a manifold gauge set. Turns out I know the Stooge that bought your R12 tank so that will be along as well.

Had a good chat with Vince yesterday and we related some interesting facts about the ECU chips we have discovered. Turns out matched sets of ECUs can have different versions of the chips in them even though they have the same part #'s. I'm going to bring along some equipment to verify this at the code level.

I'll also be bringing along my EPROM writing equipment and some blank 100ns automotive chips. These run faster than the stock Bosch chips and tend to smooth out some of the irregularities guys have experienced with the OEM chips. I'll be able to produce matched chip sets for 2.5 and 2.7 systems (including 1995 355s) during the Stoogefest if anyone wants them.

I'm hoping to collect as many chip code samples as possible during the day so we can build up a database of versions and get solid baseline info for future chip tuning specific to our upgrades.

I've got a number of Hill Engineering tools, so if anyone is going to be digging into their clutch or other specialty work LMK and I'll bring them. I've also got JB Weld if anyone needs that! ;)

Would also be interesting to collect 2.7 355 data. Maybe we can get more out of the 2.7 vs the 5.2. 355.

I'd like to hear more about this. Are the new chips tuned for better performance?
