Good luck on the 288, they aren't getting cheaper that's for sure so if you're wheeling a dealing trying to make a push for one, I fully understand. I've no idea what the market is for a Kirkham, but if I were in the market that thing ticks all the boxes. I'd have a tough time deciding between blue with white stripes and the polished aluminum with brushed stripes, but as I drive my cars I'd probably go with the traditional blue as I'd have too tough a time keeping the polished alu clean . Love the billboards, tough to find good tires for those cars that can come close to harnessing the power. It's either those or the Avons, anything less sticky is dangerous unless you have ice racing experience. Last track day I was at I watched one of them running street tires kiss the wall, owner had no idea what happened. He said he just started putting the power down, was pointed straight and next thing he knew he was staring at the tire wall.
THis is another messy car for sale thread. but in all the I have 2 questions first is how much for the red car ... the second is are you also selling the black car if so how much.... I think the Straman is kinda cool might be interested ....would definitely be different.. Seriously let me know LarryH
I go back with Tom over 25 years..He has sold many of my cars. Ask him about this one...he will tell you the truth...ehhh welll maybe..!!! The car has a real select audience..I cannot reach that crowd on my own... Tom does it every day.. This is the cleanest of the original stramans. The car is truly a treasure. Lets see what happens. Hopefully, this is the end of this thread. Although, I will miss the posts written in haiku and the parting middle finger. Nice touch.
I would have thought that one would have sold much higher in 1989 when Ferrari prices were in the stratoshere.
Congrats... Now can you teach some of us how to take better pictures??? I am waiting to see what will hit next in your stable...
