    Anyone have any experience pulling the big connector that hooks up the the Motronic 5.2 just behind the Passenger Seat?

    How does it come off?

    It's easiest to get at the connector by first removing the ECU/plug assembly from its bracket, which holds it with 4 nuts. Once it's free from being bolted to the firewall, it's pretty straightforward. There is a metal clamp that must be released and then the plug comes out fairly easily.

    There are also some videos on YouTube on this under 'gold kit install' or the like.
