Received a birthday gift from my girlfriend for a profession photo shoot with my 92 348 SS (and most likely the girlfriend :). Looking for a good spot in a 30 mile radius of Woodbridge, VA to do the shoot. I'm not from that area so looking for ideas from anyone who is. Thinking abandoned industrial area or something along those lines.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

Warehouse space would be ideal as well.

there are so many "car photographers" out there, including some on this board, I'm sure you can find someone that knows good spots they've used, they'll just have to speak up.

I would think Old Town Alexandria would be a nice location with the historic buildings, waterfront and cobblestone streets.

Prince William Forest near Quantico. Just off of I-95, exit 150 (iirc).

Occoquan has a waterfront. Been a long time since I visited other than peering off I-95 bridge to know vehicle access near boats for pics.

Old Town Alexandria is a traffic/parking fustercluck so may take time finding anywhere just to park. There is quarry I think is cool w/ ponds, conveyer belts, huge rocks, different piles of stones and sand, railroad,.... at I-395 and Edsal Rd. Also nearby at night is the Washington Gas (?) office building that has wacky colored lighting for evening shoot. And in between is a industrial building that seems to make girders or long steel things that is the industrial look background.

Thought of Prince William Forest so will definitely scout that out and I will definitely check into the last posters suggestion. Might be just the ticket. Thanks guys for giving me some ideas/direction.

Downtown Fredericksburg has a similar feel to Old Town Alexandria but should be less crowded.

    Just a thought...
