Greetings members of FerrariChat, my name is Jon and I'm from and currently living in Singapore. I've been browsing around for a good online community for Ferrari owners and have found FChat to be the best out there, and considering that I just purchased a used 2013 458 Italia last week, I think it's a good time to join this community. Anyways, enough of me and on to the car.
I purchased a MY2013 Rosso Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia with a two-tone Nero and Rosso interior last week. The car is currently going through PDI before I take delivery next week. I've taken some interior photos that I'll post below and will take exterior pics when it's out of PDI. Enjoy the pics!

A 458 spider in Singapore is priced like an Enzo Ferrari in North America. LOL
Cars in Singapore are too damned expensive. A Mercedes E class is about USD 400,000. That's a full spec 458 spider in North America.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! Now if I may ask all you 458 owners out there, are there any modifications such as a aftermarket exhaust worth doing?

Congratulations, you will love it. As far as mods go, window tint is all I have.
You might want to look into the Capristo exhaust, its a FOB button that opens up the exhaust valves to give the car a louder sound. Then you can switch it off.
    Enjoy.

My advice would be to not get mods right away.
The 458 is pretty close to perfection in many ways. Besides, you wouldn't know any better if you immediatly change the exhaust.
If I was you I would enjoy the ride (stock) for a while, at least it will make the mod feel like a change rather than standard (just my opinion).

Thanks guys. Dipesh, the CF dashboard inserts look fantastic. I'm thinking of getting ones from MACarbon for my car.

Gorgeous. I agree its best to wait a little while on the mods. I'm always hesitant to change interior finish pieces because I've found no matter what, once you take those parts out, even if you put back the same ones, you are increasing the odds for rattles and creaks.

I second this advice. These are amazing cars 100% stock. I would take a few months to just learn and experience it before doing any mods.

    Welcome Jon to FChat.
    Great looking 458.
Agree with others above - the Capristo remote exhaust switch is a nice easy install mod.
Provides for a great sound at low RPMs whenever you want it.
    Congrats and enjoy your 458.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! If I may ask, does the Capristo remote exhaust switch void the warranty? Just found out today from my dealer that my car still has 6 years of warranty left...

Most Ferrari dealers install these units, as mine was.
It is my understanding that they do not not void your warranty.
If you are concerned, check with your dealer and see what their response is.

Hello fellow FChatters! For the past few months, I've been having a blast with my Italia for the past few months. Thank you guys for giving me advice with the mods! I have since got 21' HRE S104's for the Italia and couldn't be happier. I've decided against lowering the car because my wife hates low cars (she was actually unhappy when I bought the 458 but has grown to like it thankfully!) But now I'm looking for an exhaust system for the car. A friend of mine has a Kreissieg exhaust on his F430 Spider and it sounds brutal. However I haven't heard a KSG exhaust on a 458. Anyone have recommendations on good exhaust systems? I appreciate your input! Cheers, Jon

Yes, but there is no capital gains tax in Singapore: as in, zero! Depending on how one makes (the bulk of) their money, plenty of people will gladly trade the downside of cars being super expensive in return for no capital gains tax.
