Newbie here but this would be my second Fcar. I am looking for a 360 in the $60k price range.
I found a 2002 with 30k miles with service up to date including clucth and belts in the last year and 1k miles. They are asking $72k and if everything checks out I am thinking of making a $65k offer, what are these cars really selling for today? Frank

$65k seems low for a 2002 even given the miles. Good that it has the clutch and belts done as that's about $7k right there so $72k isn't far off. What is the history -- any accidents, does it have a clean CarFax, are all the service records available? I'm assuming it's a Modena.
    For $65k you're looking at a 99 or 2000.

Alan, it is a Modena and it has had 3 owners and the last one has owned it about 7 years. Car fax is clean but I was told the front bumper/hood/fenders where repainted a few years a go because a rack fly out of a truck on freeway. Frank

The repaint isn't going to affect value as a lot of folks do that to get rid of stone chips. Last owner for 7 years is good. 30k miles means it's been driven which IMHO is the best -- but others want a 12 year old Ferrari with 1800 miles -- go figure.
I assume you have all the service records -- if not then go to the last owners dealer where I assume he had service done and they can give you them. Sounds like a very nice car -- what is the exterior and interior colors? If you can get that car for $70k I'd say do a PPI and go for it.

I think 65k is a reasonable offer, I have a 2004 with 34k miles, serviced up to date listed at 75k seems on par with the price of the 2002 you're looking at. I'd take $71,500 for mine.

I don't think you'll get it for that just depends on the seller's situation. The silver, blue and maroon cars seem to go for a bit less.

    Wow that's low for a 2004 even with 34k.

What color is it? If it is red, then 72 seems about right. If other than red, then maybe high 60's.

Agreed. Id have thought at least 75k

To the OP 65k is a good starting point but seems low. 70k is more realistic and even that seems a bit low for an 02

Wow, prices are a lot more reasonable in the US. The lowest price I've seen a 360 in New Zealand is $110,000 USD.

I am going to go look at the 360 on Sunday or Monday, but I just got back at looking at a 2005 430 black/black with 13k miles that I can get for a great price so after I look at the 360 I will make up my mind. Frank

I driven 430s before, whole different animal but $40k difference in price. Since I am paying cash I am going to buy the car I feel is a better price for what I am getting. Frank

Then you shouldn't have even brought the 430 up. 360 six speed 3 pedal car is the best route. Great cars.

Looks like the 360 is sold so I am thinking about this 430 that is about 2 blocks from NY house. It is a 2005 with 14k miles and had about 5 owners and is black on black. Back in 2008 on the car fax it shows a accident with $10k worth of damage. The story goes the owner was turn into driveway and thought the car behind him was going to hit him so he turn a hit the curb......so a replacement bumper cover/wheel and fix bottom of fender and paint front of car. How bad does this hurt the value of the car? Frank
