Ferrari Birmingham demo Speciale.

 

Thanks. Seats were Extra Camp/Special Request. Calipers are yellow. Did get lots of carbon- engine compartment, rear diffuser, nolders, front fenders and lower front nose. Build quality seems excellent, fun to drive off the charts. Really like the balance, turn in, throttle response. No hard braking yet or hard acceleration, soooon !

When last year I started the thread "New 458 Scuderia is coming", I didn't know that about an year after I would have owned my first Ferrari. Let me introduce to you today my Speciale. Nothing special since I know that most of you, love other bright colors and the livery. But I wanted a black car this time and that is what I got. I am really happy to be able to own her and it is really a magic experience. Of course my poor English doesn't allow me to explain at best my feeling. I opened an huge thread in my language about it in another (Italian) Forum so just accept these basic sentences here.. From what I see this color combination will be quite rare. Black and no livery, but I am happy for this..What a car...I will dive her on race track as soon as possible..

I thank all you my friends. Tks for your comments! I tested today the car up to 7000 rpm (not more since I have only 800 km on her) in mountain. I was not able to find any signal or advice of understeer and I assure you I was pushing quite hard especially considering that I know very well those roads since frequently I was there with my Gt3MkII. And there the Gt3 had some understeer in similar conditions (even using the right technique of course).This car is from another planet at least compared to the magic Gt3 I was used before. It is so well balanced and let me say easy to use..The only think I don't agree with tons of reviews I studied is about the iper-fast and iper reactive steering as most of journalists describe it. I sincerely didn't notice this quality since I was used to the Gt3. They seems quite similar to me in this sector..Any other GT3's owners can confirm to me this feeling?
And does anyone know how many race tracks are pre-recorded in their telemetry? In mine just two Italian and two German race tracks .Not more.I was expecting a larger database.
Soon I will test her on a race track I know very well and will film with the optional cameras the results and I expect to reduce by at least 2,5 seconds my best lap on the Gt3. We will see..
