    I have been patiently searching for a white exterior with the tan/brown (coffee & cream) interior 87-91 ever since I regretfully bowed out of the bidding on this car last year at Mecum in Monterey ...

    1988 Ferrari Testarossa | Mecum Auctions

    If anyone knows the owner of this car or if anyone is interested in selling one in this combination (or would consider white w/black interior) in excellent condition at a fair price, please feel free to send me a message to discuss.

    I remember that car......couldnt get past the chrome wheels. Dont get one with black interior. It was the reason I sold mine. The regular tan interior looks sharp combined with Bianco. The Creme color is tough to keep clean but also looks nice..

    Salerno Motors in Norcal had one but it sold and was a little tattered inside. I think an 85 white/whit is upcoming at Meecham in Seattle *Edit* just sold today.

    No stories TR's are going up daily. 'Reasonable price' is become more and more subjective.

    IF, IF, IF i had to sell mine due to some unforeseen circumstance, I would put a $72k price on it. Its not for sale.....just giving you a barometer.

    51K plus 8% buyers fee (plus shipping and tax depending on your registering state). Would have been into it for just short of 60K. Pains me everytime I think about not pulling the trigger.

    Thanks for reply Christian. I happen to love the wheels and stance on that particular Mecum one. Pains me that I didn't get it. I saw the Mecum one selling in Seattle today but wasn't interested in that white interior and aiming for an 87+ example.

    I've seen the one on DuPont Registry site that is in Colorado but they are top of market on that car IMO and it's another white leather car.

    Just curious... is yours the white with brown/tan color combo? I could not find pics on your profile.

    I read the description of the Mecum Testarossa, did not see any mentioning of a major being done, so factor in $10,000.00 for the major & now you are in for 70,000.00. I believe every car buyer/s has stories of the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, etc,etc that "got away".

    Unfortunately you might have to pay a slight premium since the movie Wolf of Wall Street. De Caprio has made the white Testa famous once again.

    Also not to many white ones out there to choose from.

    Please let me know the VIN of this car. It's an original Canadian car and I would like to register them. The VIN should start with ZFFSM.

    BigRed, the car look to be in very nice shape, I suspect the calipers are original. My car has them almost like that and is not as nice as this one and I know they are not new.
