    Once again,
You called me out for thrashing cyclist. I am assuming your a little young due to your angry rants.
Like I said and many others here repeated over and over, we are not endorsing this behavior.
As a cyclist, as are many here. We choose to excercise more comman sense making decisions where to ride. You take the risk of getting hit by a car very time your wheels touch the road.

I'm sorry you feel people are being mean to you. If it's bull$&!! Go pedal your way back to your cyclist forum.

I'm 50, I've ridden and raced bikes 100,000 miles over 30 years, but obviously you are all bike law experts. I'm done with this.

+1, Honestly we all have been super respectful and welcoming to "Speedy D" and not one of us have made any expletives to him and my issue is with "Speedy D" if want to continue to be a member of this forum or any other forums and want to get you point across, be Civil & read before you post, We all have been respectful to "Speedy D" I think the we'd all expect in return from his "cyclist rants".

    *****Disclaimer*********
At this point I think its time to pull the plug on reply's to "speedy d", Lets do what most cyclist do when they ride a bike, put on a Ipod with their favorite play list using noise canceling ear buds head phones with the volume turned up to 10,

Let's ride in the left lane, blow through every stop sign and 4 way traffic signal.

-----what does a cyclist think--------- ?
Don't mind me I am a cyclists and I know my rights, and you're all wrong.

    Beep Beep Mother****ER, Beep Beep.

I think you might want to leave, you have woken the "Darth" up. Thanks for your input on the matter, I do think you have validated some of us our opinions on cyclists. Take it you haven't been on the forums much ? A thick skin helps on the Internets, protects against flames and words.

And some of you have validated many of the stereotypes of Ferrari owners, so it's been a win all around! Turns out some of you have the same entitlement issues as ****box drivers. Too bad, I'd expect better.

You've spewed your entitled attitude since you graced this forum with your animosity towards ferrari drivers. You are the stereotypical asshat, who hates on these car owners. Not knowing the people or the community that you so easily trash on because they are not along with your narrow minded mentality.
I do love how your try and validate yourself for being completely one sided in the discussion and how your so blatantly are ignorant you sound, just dig yourself deeper hole.

Your just sound like a very naive, egotistical person who can't handle an open discussion.

Wish you the best speedy. Take care in your ventures. Enjoyed you spewing your wisdom on us. Have fun riding your 100,000 plus miles on your bike. Your obviously quite the EXPERT rider here, and scca membership, you do know that there are actual real race car drivers that post here, not just novice enthusiast like myself and you. And keep up that charming, delightful attitude you have. I'm sure everyone in your wake really appreciates you.

Done? You couldn't even stop yourself from replying for 15 minutes! (well, just barely) :)
Also, you have violated forum rules with the 16-minute reply. SUGGESTION: This might be a good time for you to back down and apologize.

I really wanted to thank fellow members for putting in a good effort on the reply's, However let me say. "SpeedyD" I wanted to re-cap your argument of how convoluted and disorganized it is, Using a blanket term to describe all Ferrari owners is uncalled for and just wrong !

Wait, 1st off this started as a thread about a car club that got busted because there was a public safety issue with people doing various illegal exhibition of speed acts and causing a public nuisance issue. Next, I addressed that the 3 groups of people who were complaining were :

    1) Residents.
    2) Cyclist.
    3) Pedestrians & Hikers.

None of which at any point did any of us blame cyclists for the problem, "SOME" of us did address it in a civil manner the present safety issue how "DANGEROUS" it is that cyclists tend to ride 2-3 wide on narrow curvy 2 way roads and also how a good majority of cyclists habitually blow through 4 way intersections and traffic lights.

None of us condone any sort of

    1) Street racing.
    2) Canyon racing.
    3) Public event "EXHIBITION" of speed.
    4) Showboating and disturbance of peace in a residential area where a car event.

***None of us came off saying "we own the roads" and cyclists have no right to be on it.***

I FEEL YOU US ALL an apology as we didn't go on to your FB group to talk smack to you are your group, as you have come into this forum and become a condescending abrasive character.

I'm pleased that our friend "Speedy D" has made us aware of his facebook group, as it is groups like these that are getting BS Cyclists Laws passed and there is no fair say from the other motorist side about Cyclists issue.

There is a gross inequality in the jurisdiction in the California Vehicle CODE regarding Cyclists laws that were recently passed, that need to be re-examined and re-written or revoked.

Lets start a group to make laws that tax the snot out of them like use and trucks pay feul taxes for road maintenance

If they want to use the road let them pay also, Its all about sharing

    1) It is insane to me that any bicycler would even want to travel the roads around the Rock Store, Angeles Crest, Cooks Corner or Hwy74 above Lake Elsinore. These areas are well known motorcycle race spots, and I have witnessed many accidents and several deaths as these locations. You might as well drive into oncoming freeway traffic, because that is what you will face in these locations - no matter what lane you are in.

    2) Bicycles and moving vehicles are not a good mix. You can quote laws and rights all day, but in the end it is a tragedy waiting to happen.

But your lie is not well done....when you say you are finished in a thread, have the maturity to walk away, not post again 14 minutes later.

Calling names isn't kosher here either....immature strike 2.

I agree and well said, Why the California state law makers have not seen the cash cow opportunity of taxing a $7,000 carbon framed bikes is beyond me. I really think we need to keep this in the headlines, and Cyclist want to start laws, I think its only fair they pay for road and bike path up-keep and maintenance now come to think of it.

Funny thing is I ride a bike, motorcycle and car
Bikes need extra lanes, resources so why should they not be taxed

I want to pay my part and have all of this move forward

I pay road tax on my trucks, luxury tax on the F car, gas tax and registration tax

The bicycle needs to be taxed also they use the resources of the road

I do ride the same, some cities and localities do require bike registration, and a fee, and you get a sticker, not so much for using the roads but taking care of bike stuff when they are stolen, lost, etc. More taxation is not the answer..one could also make the argument for special taxing running/walking shoes, as they use the road, sidewalks, trails as well, much more then any cyclist does... its a slippery slope...

Apples and oranges. Shoes are not considered a vehicile. I'm sorry to disagree with you but an item that is considered a vehicle needs to "share the road" needs to pay it's fair share.

They go for exactly the same reasons the bicyclists in my county and yours pick the roads that they do. If there is a rural road that is windy, narrow with fast motor traffic and is really ill suited to bicycles they will flock to it in large groups. I am not sure what that reason is but it seems universal. We actually have some beautiful remote rural wide 4 lane divided roads with real shoulders perfectly suited to bikes but you never see them there.
