Hi Everyone! I've been impatiently waiting on my September delivery for my Speciale, and was wondering if some of you wouldn't mind posting pics of their Grigio Silverstone Ferrari's? The pictures don't necessarily have to be Speciales, although Speciale photos in Grigio would be nice. I'm just trying to get a better idea of the color depth, flake, etc. Thanks everyone!
This is a pic of my prior Cali in Grigio Silverstone, I now have a Titanium 458 Spider. Your Speciale will look awesome in Grigio Silverstone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Your Cali looks great! Photos of Grigio Silverstone are really difficult to compare, as some photos portray the color as dark yet other photos it seems somewhat lighter in shade. Could it be the metallic flake reflecting from the sun that makes it appear lighter on occasion? Thanks so far!
Yes, the shade of color it shows really changes based on the lighting. In bright light, it gives off a slight green hue and more gray in darker light. Also, the interior color of the car that it contrasts with will also make a difference. I had a 2 tone dash (black and cuioro), cuioro leather and black carpet. How did you spec your car. I like the yellow callipars with the Silverstone.
Thanks Cmazza! The exterior spec is Grigio Silverstone with the NART stripe, Giallo Calipers, and matte black wheels. My interior spec is Nero alcantara with blue technical fabric inserts and headliner, coarse Giallo stitching, yellow rev counter, and Giallo cavallinos. I haven't seen an interior spec like this before, so I'm hoping it turns out nice.

Can you post some pics of the 458 in GT? I'm just did the preliminary spec on my 2015 458S, and I'm torn between GT and GS. I currently have a GS/cuoio coupe, and for the spider I'm doing a sabbia leather/alcantara interior. I'm leaning towards the GS again, asim afraid GT will be too light with the light interior. Thanks. Mike
GS is unbelievable in person; in 2006 my wife pointed out how great this color is when we're were in Montreal; the classiest color there is....totally love it K Image Unavailable, Please Login
The GS seems to pick up on the surrounding colours. It's almost like a pearlescent. Has anyone noticed if the pearl effect is muted with the protection film applied? Very nice pics so far! Keep 'em coming!
Just ordered my 2015 458 in GS with NERO interior. I also went with yellow as my accent color: seat stitching, tach, calipers and shields. Can't wait! All my cars are gunmetal so I really look forward to see how this one compares!

Vintage grigio??? Grigio sparkles and pops out on a sunny day-truly stunning colour on such days. Its my favourite ferrari colour on a bright sunny day. On a dull and overcast day, the colour is less arresting but still very elegant, but its definitely subdue in winter months. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Apologies for the poor exposure variation of the phone pics which have been resized. The GS looks very different depending on ambient lighting, so perhaps my pics will give some sense of the differences. All beautiful pics of GS! It seems as though GS works for every Ferrari model. That's the first F12 I've seen in GS. Herenow; I notice the stratus white V8V in the background. It sure makes me miss my stratus white V12V: my favourite car to date..... If only I could afford both the Speciale and the V12V. The V12V was probably the best old school, big block, manual transmission, drivers car produced in the last 15 years. Keep the photos coming, they just keep getting better and better!
Haha it's actually a Rapide and it is in Morning Frost Trust me, nothing will compare to the Speciale! Congrats and I agree with other posters, that GS looks a lot better in person!
