Thanks for organizing this Mike & Jim. If we do something more north (to include the Bay area guys), let me know and I can help organize.

Lou Staller - I thought you were going to be there...

That was a great day- thanks so much to the organizers! I met a lot of great, like-minded enthusiasts (too bad I can't remember anyone's names, haha.)

p.s. So Mike, when are we gonna make the cover of Forza? ;)

Jim, again thanks for joining us, I'm glad your plan all worked out on the same weekend. Glad you made it back home safely to SF with your new baby.
Your welcome Henry, don't forget Clint, he was responsible for the whole parking lot accommodation. Again thanks for driving down from Santa Barbara, I know you and Chris had great ride. If you guys would like to host a gathering there let us know as we will support you for sure.
You guys should plan something up there and if you do we will try to support your group. But I'm willing to meet you guys half way if that will work out for you guys.
Peter the photographer will let me know as soon as he hear something from the head editor of FORZA and I will post it here as soon as I here from them. I know, I can't wait either. And thanks for posting the pics Chad, looks great.

    Henry,
I've been in Colorado Springs for the past week with my wife visiting her mother who had a stroke. I would have driven up there if I was home. Maybe next time.

What a great idea! At most meets that I have attended, the 3X8s aren't very well represented. I have never seen that many in one spot.

Thanks George, yes, it was a lot of fun indeed, great weather, great cars, and great people. What's nice about it also is that everyone has the same passion and interest.

If we want to do something in SLO or Santa Barbara, let me know. I live in SB and went to school in SLO. SLO is probably more central and less traffic. Lots of good roads, beaches, and places to stay. Maybe we could get over 50 3X8 in attendance.

Problem is, you know what would be next...a national meet :)

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for asking, the GT4 is coming along. We got it running so the engine seems ok after sitting 25 years. Having a full service plus repairing the exhaust, rebuild carbs, new tires, and touch up the interior. Hopefully I'll have it on the road in a few weeks then I can start working on the detail work and decide on painting it back to its original Verde Pino Metallic or leave it red.

I can't wait for the next 308 meet.
