    Hey guys. If you do a cat delete what do you do about the cel's and and does it smell like gas? My father had a replica 427 cobra and after you drove the car you smelt like fuel. By the way my car is a 1991 348 ts.

    All 348's are OBD 1 cars and as such only have a precat O2 sensor. So no CEL. As for the smell some say it smells some say it doesn't. Mine doesn't. I recently put the cats back on for smog and my wife said "why does the garage smell like spaghetti?". So there is one vote for cats on smells.....hahaha.

    Thanks boss hog for the info. @yelcab does it make you smell like gas? Or is it just around the car?

    I don't smell like gas, but around the car it does. Plus, anyone behind me smells it strongly too.
