Can anyone help me with sourcing Rosso Corsa colored house paint? Home Depot & Lowes were clueless. Some people say that Pure Red is pretty close? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here are a few ideas:

Take your gas tank lid and get it matched. If you don't have one, go to a Ferrari dealership or a renowned body shop and have them spray a chip and get that matched.

    Great advice.
An alternative would be to pick up a load of swatches from either store, place them on the car and pick the closest one.

Please tell me you're not really painting your house Rosso Corsa.

Home Depot or Lowes will match anything. The gas lid is a great item to bring to match up.

Exactly Home Depot uses a Spectrophotometer and their computer will match the paint within 99%.

My first advice would be to not shop at Lowes or Home Depot for paint.

I use and love Benjamin Moore, and I had my local store match a red that was on some melamine for my garage. The red is very close to Rosso Corsa, and I used BM's Aura paint to paint my garage. Re-coat in 1hr, and usually red is very difficult to hide what's underneath - typically requires three coats (or more!) The Aura in two coats worked perfectly.

My BM store can match Rosso Corsa - no problem, but as mentioned previously - a fuel door or other painted surface you can bring with you would be ideal.

Whatever you are painting on your house, I second the suggestion you not get the hardware store paint brands. That stuff covers terrible and requires multiple coats to cover anything, meaning a lot more labor by you. Whomever is the reputable paint brand in your area, check them out (like Sherwin Williams or Dunn Edwards)
