Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, NC has just taken in a red/tan 1999 GTSF1 with 27K miles. Don't think it has been priced yet. No affiliation but they are nice folks there.
beat me to it lol. been checking their site daily. do we know who owned this car? was it an f-chatter? says it got a new windshield. anyone know why? did you buy private party or from dealer/retailer?
That is exactly what I had to do when I "found" mine. When I saw the ad it was the second day it had been posted. I was told I was the 11th person to inquire. Luckily I was local (2.5 hr drive) and went to inspect it the next day. As I left the sales guy said if I wanted it I needed to make a deal quick, because he knew if I waited I'd lose out on it (Keith @ FCI, highly, HIGHLY recommended). Discussed with the wife, called the place on the drive home from my inspection and made the deal. Paid nearly full price, but sorted cars don't have much wiggle room because of the interest they generate.
For what it's worth, I've purchased two cars from Keith @ FCI. Hands-down best experiences I've had buying cars. He's a straight shooter. I also second/third the joining the local FCar/dealer community.
No it's not Dave! Prizes are now going up because of the season! Just like houses. I don't like sellers when they say I should hurry up to buy, I usually run away! But when the sun is shining....even I....am spending more money then I used to do
