    Full shot

I did some inspection while underneath. All 4 CV boots are good. Very, very small oil drip (wetness) on pumpkin center bearing and lower screen. Very minor, I'll look into it more.

I understand why you back the car in but doesn't that defeat the purpose of an asymmetric lift?

Not at all. The door can still be opened. Plus, in my case, I wanted the car positioned a certain distance deep in the garage and I have a control joint running dead center in depth. A symmetric lift would have req'd a new concrete foundation since I could not span the control joint

Dave you need a small NACA duct to install in the ground effects to cool the alternator :)

    No biggy

Toss one on a frame machine, do a pull on the nose and watch a quarter buckle, now thats what I love :)

So, I was too busy in my shop to make these parts so the next best thing is I have a tech college making them (students).

    They started cutting chips today.

Nicely made parts Dave, but I have a questions. How did you and Mitch determine that the flat panel area in the front, forward of the factory jacking point is an adequately strong location. I can see that it is holding your car up. I saw that you used that location before with jack stands too. When I tap on that area it doesn't give me a warn and fuzzy feeling. How do we find what structure is above there. I would like to use the same spot. --- Thanks --- mosierjr
