I ended up in Hospenthal and was in searching of my next challenge, the Susten Pass which I never did before and what a road guys...had some motorbikers pushing the throttle with me , it was huge fun....

The views are amazing are the road deserves to be driven...really....so let me guess which car would you bring to this road?

Once you reach the Grimsel Pass Top...you'll be absolutely astonished...the only bad thing there was huge traffic...so I could not push my Scud hard...but fortunately because COPS where stopping cars at the top :)

Once you reach the top and you look back down at the street you just drove ....wow....very windy here...but 18°C outisde...nice for a stop and look at my trip....next pass will be the Furka..

Now it's time to restart my Scud and go down to Gletsch...Furka Pass is waiting for my Scud :)

When I look at the Furka pass and its road I always think this is another road that really deserves to be driven in a noisy Red Ferrari...

370 km done...5 1/2 hours of pure driving pleasure...hope you enjoy guys...now I have to wash my scud :)

Switzerland is a very nice place for supercars, there are many many roads that deserves to be driven for those who, like me, like to spend hours seated in a red Ferrari.

Italy has very nice reads too and the region between Alba and Casale Monferrato (Piemonte) really has something to tell...amazing sunday...400km trip there and back home.

A nice restaurant, good food and ready for the way back.

    Enjoy guys.

I drove up Furkapass about 34 months ago, & it was spectacular even in a rental POS. I've always wondered how I could rent a Ferrari, Lotus, Aston to do it again someday. Are the police an impediment to spirited driving on those passes?
Thanks for all the stunning photos and stories!

Unfortunately I don't know, but maybe you find a company in the internet that is renting a Ferrari in Ticino.

Sometimes...yes...at least they do check for bikers, cause many are used to drive these roads very fast...
I am always very tempted pushing hard on the throttle but if you get caught, you can hang your driving licence to the wall...:-(

How can one hand a driving licence to the wall when the licence is gone (and in the hands of the police)...........? There are dozens of police officers with their radar guns on ALL Swiss passes, day and night, 24/7.

Funny. You can't be serious with such outlandish claims :)
Yes, our country tends to be repressive, and Via Sicura has considerably raised the stakes for sustained speeding offenses (there was one example this Sunday with a german doing 215 km/h on the A1 in Argau, ended in jail with his Mercedes confiscated), but we don't live in a police state either.

I, for one, am reasonably frequently at the Susten and Grimsel. There is one BMW X3 patrol car which is usually patrolling the region, and I think it's a good thing given the frequency of biking accidents.
The only radar (laser trailer actually) I saw in the region in a long time was a trailer in a 50 km/h zone in Willigen near Meiringen, and I'll be the last to criticize speed checks in villages.

    This thread is hilarious.

Switzerland is only nice for scenery not for supercars or anything else for that matter. It is also one of the most provincial places I have ever been in. A strange place with a strange group of people living in it. Locals are extremely suspicious of anyone not being of German sheep herding descent.

The locals instantly make frowning faces if your car is too loud or you are driving 1km/h above the speed limit. Locals calling in anyone they deem a "lawbreaker" to police is considered socially acceptable.

Speed cameras are everywhere, including taking average speeds in tunnels. I saw few police but nothing excessive, however I wouldn't be surprised if they instantly show up when the locals call.

Food prices are off the chart for some of the worst meals I've ever had.

Outside of some mountain passes and scenery, Switzerland blows.
