Hey guys just ordered my Kreissieg exhaust from Japan and it's should arrive next week after patiently waiting for a month. Any assistance on installation would be great. My son and I just took the heat shield off and working on the one on the back but it's a pain because the last two bolts are in a area where I can't get my wrench in to turn them. It looks as if the there are two bolts on each side with springs on them and two bolts on each side front the cats. This is from under the car. Then couple bolts on the top end on both sides. Is that all or do I need to do anything else. They say the exhaust is a direct bolt on. Thanks.

Thanks SoCal. How hard is that to do and do you have to?

It is it that difficult. Awkward to access the fasteners more than it is difficult.

Removing the rear bumper is very easy. To make access easy, I put my rear end on jack stands (near the rear motor mounts) and took the rear wheels off. Then removed the rear fiberglass inner fender liner to access and remove the 2 side bolts. Unplug the 3 lights (license plate and 2 side markers) and finally unbolt the 2 center mounts, 2 bolts each. Have a helper grab one side of the bumper with you on the other and ease it back and off. It only weighs about 30 pounds so its not much to hold. That's it. Good luck.

When I replaced my stock exhaust with my Capristo I didn't remove the bumper and TBH dont think you need to. However, it helps to have a selection of extension sockets + some irwins. Take the opportunity to replace the nust and bolts with stainless ones as they will most probably snap when undoing them as they rust into a clump if original :)

I took a lot of photos when I did mine which may give you some ideas

Feel free to handle the install how ever you feel comfortable but to say you need to take the bumper off to install an exhaust is like saying you need to remove the tire to put air in it. I have installed and removed my exhaust at least 1/2 a dozen times and never even contemplated removing the bumper.

I removed my exhaust without removing the bumper.
