    Just took Carl for a ride in it. He said it didn't feel too much harder than a perfect 308QV he'd been in a day before. The more I drive it, the more convinced I am that I nailed it. (by using the advice of those on here who'd already done it)

    I'll probably be in Ringwood with it some time this week if you want to come for a ride.

    Now I've done 1500km. Up and down mountain roads, including everything, from super smooth to really bumpy and undulating..... sometimes at quite high speed.

    I've spent a lot of money on a lot of cars in my life, but i think this is the best money I've ever spent. I love it. Really compliant and gives excellent ride control.

    I wish I'd done this year's ago.

    Good to hear, what exactly did you get, what spring rates and part numbers? I'm going to ride around on rebuilt Konis and rebuilt suspension before doing anything else.

    I did the "usual" QA1 thing with 400/350 springs. I was worried they'd be too harsh, but it was the right choice for me. I wish I'd never wasted money on the original koni set up. The only time they're harsh is at LOW speed over corrugations.

    Glad to hear that, Peter. I wonder if that spring rate is too high for a GTS? I'd like to go the same way in time on my QV, but don't want to overwhelm the chassis. Does anyone out there with a GTS have this set up?
