    Hey Fellas,
I did a search for this issue, but couldn't find an answer. Also checked Esoteric's web shop and couldn't find any products.

My car wash hose nozzle has bit the big one - it isn't functioning properly anymore and wastes too much water. I have been using a generic palm trigger-type nozzle with a multitude of spray patterns (shower, jet, full, flat, angle, mist, etc...) on a rotating dial that you can probably find at any garden center or home improvement store. It did the job OK, and I liked the one-handed ease of the trigger function.

Do you guys have any nozzles that you like very much? If so, can you post their information? I'd like to step into something more appropriate, but if the general consensus is: "Raj, go to XYZ store and spend $9.99 for a unit that does the same thing you've been using already!!!" then I'm cool with that too. I guess I'm not looking for something that sprays crazy strong, because I'm not sure that's gonna be good for my car. Just thought I'd check and see if I was missing any "miracle" product.

I stumbled across the amazing Master Blaster Air Dryer system through a thread in this section, and now I don't know how I ever lived without it. So, maybe this hose nozzle business will be similar.

    Thanks,
    Raj

The one you had sounds like the one I have that I got from Harbor freight for $5. When it dies, I'll get another. I would not waste money on the $75 dollar ones coz when you break it, you will cry :)

I also buy cheap sunglasses so when I sit on them (often), I don't worry about it.

Haha, fair enough. It's true, my hose nozzles get some abuse (they live outdoors, get dropped on concrete, etc.). That's basically why I've got to replace the one I'm working with.

FWIW, I'm a lot kinder to my sunglasses, so I shell out top dollars for those!

I followed the wife into Bed Bath & Beyond recently and they had one made out of brass that looked real quality and made in the USA. Around $10 so I bought it. Doesn't work for crap so watch out for that one. Master Blaster is great, I've had mine for four years and highly recommend to everyone.

If you want something fun and have good water pressure. Get yourself a foaming wash gun. It has a quick disconnect when you want to just spray. Though it's not going to have all the spray options.

Interesting, but a bit of overkill IMO. I use a water filter on my wash hose (non-D/I) and it has served me well. So, thanks but I'm gonna look for something more run-of-the-mill. :)
Edit: Plus, seeing it with a brush attachment gives me the heebie-jeebies...
