Argh...I languish writing this as I severely dislike getting into these kinds of discussions but I have had excellent service with Ricambi. In the high end auto and auto parts business service is everything.

    a) My crank shaft seal came damaged and was a very time critical item as it was holding up the entire re-install. I PM'd Daniel and he sent out another one the next day--no questions asked

    b) I got off the phone with T-Rutlands literally 50 min ago as I was ordering a new coolant expansion tank cap. Their price $24. Ricambi price: $39. So I said "cool I'll save a few bucks and get it from T-rutlands." When I called to order the part they a) failed to send me the PayPal invoice so I had to call them back to which they said "sorry I forgot to send it." b) Told me that their website prices are incorrect....the part was not $24 as shown but rather $34. I said forget it...I'm going to order from Ricambi.

    c) I called Ricambi after hanging up with TRutlands and the phone rang until I got an answering machine. I didn't leave a message but got a quick call back from them to which they addressed me by name and even remembered what kind of car I had....simply by recognition of my phone number.

I also like how all of there parts are sealed in their individual bags and clearly marked. It shows an extra mark of quality and professionalism. I do appreciate healthy competition and think it quite narrow to say price is never a factor. But all things being equal Ricambi has set the bar for quality and service. :)

Daniel at Ricambi is the best, period. T-Rutlands is like ordering in 1974 compared to them.

Only times I've ordered elsewhere were if they didn't have what I needed or I needed something asap that they couldn't get right away and somebody else had it in stock. In the second instance (m2.7 specific exhaust donut), Daniel actually told me who to call to try to find it quickly.

Plus, since they're located geographically close by, I get parts in around 2 days with standard shipping.
