Assuming the A pillar is to scale I'd guess '64 GTO because it has a thinner A pillar than the 250 LM.

    Dangerous guess though.

Question: what scale will they produce the trans-kit for the 126C2 and for what kit? If it’s for the Revell kit, then I'm very interested knowing more, cost, and availability and where can I purchase it. Thx

1/12th for Protar/Revell kit. It is not out yet but I would expect $200-$300.00 US based on their other kit prices.

At the risk of having missed this in one of the previous 97 pages, does anyone a good model (preferably 1/18 or 1/24) of the series 1 330 GT 2+2?

For that matter, it seems to me that there must be a market for high quality models of many of the higher volume 1960's road cars; 250GTE, 275GTC, etc.

    thanks

AirTrax, a company from Europe makes them all in 1/24th scale resin trans-kits. They do require a plastic donor kit. They are very nice but only for advanced modelers. Contact the owner Tapani at:

    thanks -

I'm more used to hearing that the 330 & 250 are being used as donor cars fro GTOs...

Not all of them had the hood scoop so I'm sure there will be an option to build the one with blue markings.

When you say "blue markings" are you referring to the Maranello car #25? If so, that version is definitely coming. That car had a hood scoop as did the #24 and 27 from LM64. The #26 (LM64) and #30 (Daytona 64) cars had the hood bulge (bulge extended into the nose on the body). All of these are the versions MFH will be making.

The pictures above are of the #25 Maranello blue striped car. That car had the scoop and roof wing. The #24 and 27 had the scoop with smooth roof and #26/30 had a bulge and winged roof.

There were cars that ran in '65 with hood bulges and smooth roof's but not sure of which races, probably Targa Florio. Also I do not know if they were rebodied GTO's. The #25 car from 64 is a rebody I beleive but a nice looking car of course.

They also made 2 long roof cars that Hiro is not making. They both ran in the 1964 Targa Florio. The hood scoop version is the cold air induction version and the hood bump and no scoop is the warm air induction version.

This looks to be a fantastic super detailed kit. I wonder if they will put springs/valves and cams. That would be a waste as you can't see them but would be a selling point to some people??

Hiro is reissuing the Ferrari 643 transkit(For Tamiya 1/12th 641/2 kit) along with another Porsche 917K full kit in 1/24th scale. I hope they do a 917K in 1/12th scale someday. The 1/24th scale kit was a waste of time in my opinion as so many kits are already available of it in 1/24th scale.
