I have noticed a "clicking" sound from the stick/gate when changing gear from 3:rd to 4:th gear on my 348. Can it be a bad adjustment of the stick? I have just done a engine out major.
    Regards

Make sure the gate is tightened down all the way. Maybe check the boot inside as well?

Yeah, the gate is tight and the boot is new. Funny thing is, the clicking sound comes just when I change gear from 3:rd to 4:th. The gears are very smoth since I changed the gear box oil to the Red Line oils.

Hmm, I just lubed my cable ends and connections from above and below. If you can, see where the cable ends are in that position. I suspect it's right side forward, left side back since that's the way the lever is moved. I did this several times to work the teflon spray into the cable guides. It has helped a bit without taking them off the car. Maybe one of the joints is loose in there? You may be able to see it from the turret above. In fact, if the major was just done, it may be loose at the rear, transmission side. Bummer, have to lift the car.

I don't know which cable works what but it sounds like perhaps one of the cables is behaving badly. I would start my investigation there.

    Thanks guys.
It was the rubber boot. It was kinda slipped under the gate AND on the stick. An easy fix.
As someone here use to say: Do it once and do it right.....Easy to say...but difficult to do when all fingers sometimes are thumbs....
    Thanks again
