I'm not sure I understand this? The CS is not much different in size to the Scud and certainly the Scud is just as "raw".

I was waiting for someone to respond to the "raw" comment . . .

This is a pretty pointless thread. Next, we should debate which is the one true religion.

Scud hands down - just as raw or more so then the CS - have had both - CS is great car but Scud will just blow by it

The scuderia has contemporary Ferrari performance w all the old-school analog rawness and rage that you will NOT find in any of the contemporary Ferrari models like the 458.

I traded my CS in for the Scuderia and never missed driving it at all. In hindsight yes, maybe I should have kept it as a garage ornament awhile longer and make some money off a car which has never been an investment idea for me, but oh well. The driving pleasure & schoolgirl giggles I've had since has been priceless.

Just look at what all the CS owners talk about on here. Value, value, value. Hey, if that's your source of joy, all the power to you. But if you're about the drive you know which to go with.

Man I have said this before... The Scud is faster yes, but the Scud is faster than a 1964 Ferrari GTO too... But I would still rather have the GTO.

Its about the package & experience, not just speed... If it were just speed then deal me into a Mclaren MP4 12c and park the Scud with a for-sale sign.

I thought I gave enough context, that it isn't about speed...didn't even mention that word once lmao someone's subconscious insecurities are speaking out loud...

Some people wont like this thread, others like me love it.

I am staring down the barrel of a CS, Scud and 458s, all red, and deciding which to purchase. All 3 are different and I would buy for different reasons.

And I go back and forth every day, just like many of you in the same fortunate situation.

PS - and still no closer to a decision, so keep commenting.

Yeah but "speed" is probably the only thing it has over the CS! LoL everything else pales in comparison hahaha

totally agree...I bought an f40 and then I got a CS...they really do just belong together...I will get a scud when the specific one I want becomes available...and a special why not

hey, you're entitled to your opinion.

having owned both before, i have not missed the cs once.

at one point i did miss the sound because stock-for-stock the scud sounds pathetic in comparison, but in case you haven't read, I and many other scud owners have ditched our oem exhausts for the s-line exhaust and the car now sounds like a proper Ferrari.

ppl talk about the "speed" and the F40, well here's a fact for you to chew on. Even by today's contemporary standards, the F40 holds respectful speed. Can't say the same for the CS.

I've driven an F40 before too, it was amazeballs. The way the turbos kick in on you and how the car makes you work even when shifting is very, very unique. Yet in all that mix, it's still poised, agile and easy to manhandle back into control. VERY, VERY rewarding. The CS? meh...can't even brake hard without it squirreling unpredictably lol.

Roger that and I love it too and I apologize to everyone that seems to be annoyed by it. It's been very helpful to me, I have decided to buy all 3 ... eventually ... If I can. I'm going for the CS first. I loved driving it and I can't wait to drive it again. I think I have found one I like. Watch this space.

Seems like the OP has already spoken. The CS wins. At the end of the day, they're all fantastic. Choose the one u passionately desire and let it kill you.. or for the fortunate few, buy one of each... U Lucky bastards haha... maybe one day :)

By the time you do, probably have to change the sentiment to "all four".

    Simply. Not. True.

Yes, there is a thread on that topic. That said, I've likely posted more times on Scud values here in the multiple thread on that car than I have CS.

They are both great cars and excellent examples of raw(er) Ferrari's. Anyone that loves them for the emotion and joy of driving them will like both of them. I certainly do.

My advice to the OP - which he seems to have taken to heart - is to own both.

The silly CS! Scud! teenage pick-one fanboy crap is boring. (not saying you are doing that...this comment is more broadly intended to the thread in general).

As I indicated before, I think you have a winner of an idea there. I will say...you *might* find the 458 doesn't interest you *if* you love the experience of the CS and Scud. I love both of those models but am not interested in a 458 - despite it being an amazing car - for reasons covered many times in that forum and that you might also experience upon driving these fine cars.
