Seems all the Lambo's are getting nice money. It will be interesting to see what the Miura's fetch tomorrow!

A 350GT sold earlier for $750,000.00 and a Series III Espada just hammered at $110k ($121k all in).

It's too bad there wasn't a 5000QV at any of the auctions. We had a Periscope, LP400S, 5000S and a 25th. It would have been interesting to see how they fell amoungst the others.

I watched the live feed, it started ar $200k went to $225k then the feed jumped to a Lotus. I suspect the car got more than $225k, anyone know what happened?

Im with you, I was watching the feed and suddenly it staled. I watched a total of 2 hrs of the auction and it screwed up a couple of times so it could very well be the web site. It is a very non-informative web site.

I was there. The Countach ran much later than expected. It was so late that there wasn't anyone left to bid on it. It was a non-starter. No action on it... The car was immediately pushed off the block. Perhaps they will re-run it at a later time?

Very interesting choice to put this in R&S and run it at 10pm.

Anyone knows who owns it? What was the final bid?

Did the copper car have its tools and pouch? Im just curious what they looked like. The Periscopo did not have its tools and pouch, although apparently the catalog said it did, as they made mention of it during the auction. Has nothing to do with value, just curious what they look like.

R & S at 11 pm with about one week of time on their website and zero marketing is a bad combination.

At the current rate the QVs DD are in the $650K range and the injected somewhat less that is for decent cars, not car in the shape the 400s or the 400 sold in. These cars command premium it seems regardless of their state as long as they are not butchered.
the DD at emelia was in restrospect a very very good deal at $300K+. It seems you barely get an anniversary for that price now.
Worldwide, it seem everyone with a pretty penny is taking extasy for about 1 year when it comes to buy assets.

    Was the LP5000S injected?

Seems that R&S would not be a first choice were I to want to sell one.

I am pretty certain it did, from what I understand the car came with everything it had with it when it left the factory.

I think its been a while since a RHD 88.5 car has sold publicly, and with the recent rapid ascent people are just getting their head around what values should be.

Having said all that, a set of pictures will help as a first step towards feedback.
