2005 575M HGTC 6 Speed Manual TDF/CUOIO

This was not Rob Lay's first choice of how to do a for sale section for exactly the reason we have seen, unpleasant comments from the peanut gallery of non-buyers. Unfortunately, the last for sale format was even worse and this seemed to be the best affordable alternative.

If you are not a serious buyer for Dom's car, or someone with something positive to add like many here did, why are you commenting?

Stradman- You are acting like a classic troll. Your opinions and self-justification are irrelevant to Dom's sale of his 575M and annoying to most readers. So why continue digging the hole deeper?

 

I drove a 550 with a 6-speed for a few hours up in the hills and I can tell you that it was pure heaven.

 

Ive had a few chats with Dom over the years......hes a great guy and is passionate about his cars.
I suggest if your interested to pick up the phone and call him....I suggest if your not interested to not worry about it

Back on topic: the car is rare, beautiful, enthusiastically owned. That's about all I'd want as a purchaser; the asking price is for private discussion.

If I could go back in time and was ordering a 575 new, this is the exact way I'd have chosen! Gorgeous, and I hope the right owner appears.

 

A seller can choose any option to sell his/her car and can ask whatever they want for it.

If this was a thread started as a discussion to talk about POA vs Price Listing then you would be well within your right to add your $0.02. But that is not what this thread is. It's a for sale thread started by an owner of a nice and rare Ferrari with the hopes of selling to a new owner. Hopefully now you can understand how rude, disrespectful and totally wrong you were to post what you did where you did.

Dom, has the right to market his car any way he likes. When I see "Please Inquire" on a dealer's website the last thing I think about is grabbing a Molotov Cocktail and hauling ass down there! If I'm interested, I call, end of story.

I believe that Dom has decided instead to sell his argento/nero 575.

 

It's never appropriate to provoke or attack someone on their sale posting.
Negative comments are always viewed to be an assault. Not nice.

That car is a keeper - nothing else like it for sure..

 

If you knew the offer he turned down for the car you would appreciate how tempting it was to sell. But since Dominic will still sell his argento 575 for very good money in this market, IMHO he is perfectly right to keep the HGTC 3-pedal in TdF/cuoio, the best color combination. For me it truly is 'the perfect Ferrari'

 

I concur. When I first saw it and then the interior, I knew that was a car I'd never forget as long as I lived. Sounds corny and cliche'; but true.

 

exactly. such a shame ferrari has gone down this path. Maybe there's a reason their cars aren't selling as well. Enough people have them now it doesn't impress anyone anymore and they've isolated the traditionalists.
