Are there still any shops in the USA selling 1/43 kits? Seems like all the ones that I know of have disappeared.

FPPM Fernando Pinto models will finish the Auto Union Type C 1936 and follow it with a Porsche 906 both in 1/24th scale. After that he is talking about doing a 1/24th Pan Americana 1954 Ferrari kit!!!

Him: "I am sorry honey I must cancel our dinner tonight."
Her: "Why! Are you seeing another woman?"
Him: "Yes but it is not what you think, I must drive my M1 and she does not complain as much as you do."

Looks like more great photos from Joe Honda.

1968 was a fascinating year because it started wingless and ended up with a veritable "flying circus". It was also the first year of on-car sponsorship, though Lotus and McLaren were the only teams taking advantage in '68. Unfortunately, it was the last year for Cooper and Honda, and the year we lost Clark, Spence, Scarfiotti and Schlesser (though only one of those was in an F1 car).

Very nice selection. I hope they do the covered headlight version of the Ferrari also. Prices for Profil 24 are getting high.

More Hiro stuff....1/43rd 312 F1 1967 and 312PB 1972 along with a few more 1/12th scale Series II GTO photos. Hot and cold air induction bodies. I wish they had molded the door jams into the main body. I can see that being a pain when assembling. I figure with this thin body they were required to do it this way to avoid casting issues.

Model Factory Hiro Has said they will do a Ferrari P4, other versions of the Ferrari 250 GTO, Brabham Alfa BT46B, Williams FW16, Porsche 956, and Porsche 917K?? in full super detailed 1/12th scale kits.

They are having trouble with Ferrari F1 1/43rd licensed models due to hold ups in the approval by Ferrari according to a source. I think the problem is Hiro wants to do the same cars Tameo is already doing.

FPPM Fernando Pinto Models will do the 1962 Ferrari 330 TRI/LM Lemans winner and Porsche 906 next in 1/24th scale.

He asked me if he should put motors in the kits. What do you think? They should be out in a month or so either way.

I would love to see a Schumacher era 1/12 car, full detail, low nose 96 car or the 2000 car by MFH.
