2004 360 Challenge - All Services Complete

Beautiful car and a great deal! I'm positive she will sell quickly...

 

What do you think would have to be done to make it street legal?

I really want a White 360!

 

I was cautioned against it by Ferrari of Houston.

The roll bar is illegal in a lot of states, hitting it without a helmet can kill you.

The clutch is also very "grabby" and one rush hour session would burn it up completely....

 

It lacks a street title, so you are black flagged at the first step, of Title and tags.

It lacks a lot of street requirements, it's more than a radio blanking plate that gets you to a Challenge machine....ride height is waaay low for curbs and driveways, you'd hit things all the time!

I've pondered on it too, trust me.

 

We DID run them all over New Orleans, at the French Quarter Ferrari Classic, but we had Police escorts, and also John Houghtaling, III, to throw Bail....

 

Looks like a dry break fuel filler. Not so good at the Conoco station?

Ferrai challenge is best track day toy you can get and this one is so pristine. Wish i had room for it with a trailer and tow vehicle. I would add splitter and rear wing and have sooo much fun with it. GLWS

 

For various reasons this is not an issue I will discuss in depth in a public forum, but I will say that there has been a lot of discussion on FChat about the legality of driving a Challenge car on the street in the US, most of it by non-lawyers, and much of it, with all due respect, misinformed.

I have interest in your car. It is my understanding that all the Challenge cars came with SD2's. Is the SD2 with the car?

I don't think that is correct on the SD2 and this CH does not have one. That said, I know dealer SD systems and even Leonardo will do the Challenge Car if something needs to be reset. I've been away from FChat for a bit but keep me posted if you're interested, apologize for delay, price reduction also coming next post.

SD2 fine with these but Leonardo struggles some and won't do everything
