So true and I think his time at Lotus will be short lived even with his financial backing. All the team does is repair his wrecked cars.

 

They already signed him for next year.

 

I believe I remember hearing the same thing yet contracts can and have be broken. Most teams have a performance/race results clause in a drivers contract. The name 'Crashdanaldo' is well deserved and can not be denied.

Lotus should start fining him for damages to the car.

 

He really is the poorest excuse for an F1 driver in the last 20 years or so. Race winner he may be, but that means **** all in this case IMO. I remember that after his race win he didn't get near the points for the next 10 or so races, through sheer incompetence (His teammate Senna, the not so good one, finished ahead in almost all races after Loldonados win).

 

Lets not forget the excuses he makes afterwards as if he is free from any blame. Lotus should paint his car blue just like a back marker and if he fails to concede black flag him.

He claims to have only had 2, maybe 3 incidents this season, and only sometimes it was his fault.

Do Venezuelans not have seasons? Do they happen at different periods to the rest of the world? I wonder what goes through the mind of this simpleton.

 

I think the real question is if he still deserves to be in F1 at all, I would not let him drive my car, I am a better driver! He apparently takes no blame for any accident he has caused for at least the past 3-4 seasons and that is just one of his issues. So he made it to F1 but his accident history greatly out weighs his one gifted win and he punted cars if memory serves for that win.

And I can't wait for Qualifying. Hopefully Britney doesn't try and Park it again ala Monaco. No doubt Britney has been feverishly studying Hamilton's data and demanding his car to be setup the same so I'm going to make a conservative guess that The Hammer takes pole by at least 2/10. Care to wager?
