Go troll somewhere else please. I'm not at all complaining about Hamilton. I'm simply replying to Aircon's post and I agree, Schumacher was cheaper, but for a company as big as merc, 20 million is rounding a number up. It's meaningless for them.
WTF! I only see a opinion, is he a troll simply because you do not like his opinion? Maybe I do not like your opinion but would calling you a troll be warranted, nyet.
Not a troll because I disagree with him (I disagree with some here on a regular basis but never resorted to calling them a troll, because they do not behave like one). Toil has a habit of twisting my words, so he is a troll. Troll is not offensive though is it? Unless we're bringing looks into the argument (which we're not). Troll is simply to describe ones behavior on the internet.
I twist what you say? That's news to me. Please provide one example and I'll happily embrace my new name of "troll". If I were a troll I would've said "ferrari called. Tell kimi they want their money back"
I was not shocked but thought it would have been closer yet then again I am not a passenger on the Hambone Express.
Agree because LH has shown that he's mentally fragile again. Why was he pushing so hard to get P1? Should have relaxed and taken a huge amount of pressure on himself and just driven smoothly and heck he might have actually got pole. Nico's pace must be really getting to him is my only conclusion. For this reason even if LH is leading all Nico has to do is be right behind waiting for the mistake. If it does not come, Nico gets second ... no big deal. Now if the other way around LH would have steam coming out of his helmet and likely make another mistake ... like his braking issues in qualifying which surely were driver related and the glazing is just BS. Nico IMO is the better driver. LH is fun to watch but not better or faster. Pete
For one season Michael might have done (almost) as well as Lewis but Hamilton has many more seasons left than Michael would have. In any case money isn't a consideration for a team like MB when it comes to top flight drivers.
Just once you'd think that one of the biggest and richest teams like Mercedes could their two great drivers to state something like "Yeah, me and Nico had a helluva battle for the pole, and he beat me by a tire width, but we're both giving it everything and enjoying it. Isn't this Mercedes car making all the other teams look like doo-doo?" Hamilton is very talented, former world champ, but even if it's fantasy can't he say something like the above instead of "my car broke"?
I agree with this, Lewis is more dynamic, but also more volatile. Nico is the opposite-cool calm and collected avoiding defeating himself with over aggression. That is what makes this such an interesting battle to see which character delivers a championship. I don't think Nico could win a championship with the second fastest car. i do think Lewis (and Fernando could). I also think Lewis could lose a championship with the superior car due to his mercurial nature.
Lewis always seems to drive the wheels off the car. It always feels as though lewis has the potential to win if hes behind whereas if nico is behind lewis can hold him off.
I was a little shocked to see Rosberg keep P1 because of Hamilton's known wet weather talents, but Hamilton does seem more than a bit lost. In my opinion this is Rosberg's year and I think Lewis knows it too. It feels as if Nico and the team are one whereas Lewis is constantly bickering back and forth on the radio and seems standoffish. I get that drivers need to focus when on track but yelling over the radio to basically shut the hell up is not alright. And he does it frequently. From what I have heard Rosberg likes to be familiar with every aspect of his car and knows it well. Surely this comes in handy when fine tuning on a track like Spa.
As I keep saying show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser. Just ask yourself this question, if Nico had had Ham's reliability issues this year, do you think Nico would be in the position Ham is in right now in the point standings, because I don't. No disrespect to Nico but I haven't seen him pull off a top 3 finish from the back yet.
No just Lucky Here you go Pete, you can't buy this skill, your born with it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDgpS4kx88s
