    A guy near me is selling a 430. Here is the low down:

    2005 Ferrari F430 Spider
    Red/Tan
    $132,000.00
    25K Miles
    New clutch
    New rear tires
    Rebuilt gear box

    Is it just me or does a rebuilt gear box and new clutch on a car with only 25k miles sound a bit suspicious?

    it does. Not the clutch. The Gearbox.

    Based on these experiences from another thread here, doesn't so much sound suspicious as unusual, but not unheard of owner experience:

    "2005 F430 Spider, catastrophic issues every 500-1,000 miles. Put 12K miles on the car.
    2011 458 Challenge. 3 Complete Gear Box Swap Outs
    2012 FF, leased this one. After two gear box failures in the first month of ownership.
    2013 458 Spider, Gear Box Failure within the first 2K miles "

    If I had to guess, it must be an F1. Really don't have too much of an issue when it comes to manual. It's those F1 launches that kills it and the reverse the burns the clutch.
