    I was out of town this weekend and was at a relatives home and in the den was this AWESOME rendering of his Porsche,him and his dog ...

    Th artist even captured the detail in his cable sweater, the tire treads, and the shadows under the bumper....it was amazing. He said the artist took dozens of photos and drew it from that....

    I thought that is a gift to give yourself; the guy that did it was in Baltimore back in 1982; do not know if he is still active. doc

    A guy named Frank Di Martino did a very nice one for me. It is in an "impressionistic" style which gives it a lot of life & motion. It also cuts down of the time to paint vs. photo realism. He did it from photos of my car, (Bobsy- Alfa) and a Lotus 23 involved in "a racing incident" that I described to him. It holds the place of honor on my car wall.

    Chip Foose will do it...but you won't recognize it as your car anymore, 99% of the people on FChat will hate it, and 99% of the rest of the world would love it!

    Bushwhacker (Dennis Merritt) will create an original piece of art by looking at a few pictures of your car and doing a short interview.
    Don't expect the end result to be a "re-print" one of your photos - no, far better, it will be a one-off artistic interpretation of your car and how it relates to you.

    Here is an amazing drawing he did of my 1965 Corvette convertible.
