LOL, it's taking in the whole experience of going to a race I like to see, mad in the head fans ect, I made the mistake of just taking photos of cars whizzing round, yes good but can be boring in one sense..;)

    Agreed.

You want good photos of the cars? Sutton Images (among others) has a fantastic, searchable, archive! Sure, it's not like your own pix, but at least the damn fence isn't in the way! ;)

Many other 'things' that you can shoot though - and that's obviously where Tif12's going here. :)

    Cheers,
    Ian

Yeah, my wife isn't so enthusiastic when I ask her in the restaurant to hold off eating until I'm done with all the foodie pics :)

this should not be a problem with the turbos... at Canada this year you could easily keep up a conversation while the cars were on the track

That's a great shame about having a conversation at a GP race. Talk about destroying F1 history!

I'm not getting hoarse because I'm having a conversation.

I'm just screaming my bloody lungs out each time my heroes passes by.

Totally agree that it should not be possible to have any kind of conversation when they're on track!

But "destroying history"? Nah, history is history after all! ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

Most likely done for preservation. Only other quick thought I had was for filming purposes. With all the recent films such as Senna and Rush, maybe something is in the works to showcase Monza?
