Out of sheer curiosity, anyone have a ballpark repair estimate on the LaF?

Peter, was it sent to the factory because Scuderia Monte-Carlo didn't want to render repairs, or because the damage was too extensive for a service center? I'm only asking because the damage doesn't look extensive at all, and I figured it would've been fixed right there in Monaco.

Does fchat legally have to redact vin numbers if requested by the owner??

    No.

In this case, the owner contacted the original poster and requested that he have the VIN removed from the post. The original poster then contacted us and asked us to remove it. We complied.

Deleting the vin number is quite frankly odd, especially considering who posted it in the first place.

Could you kindly direct me to the aforementioned advertisement, as I did not consent of this, and most importantly my vehicle is not for sale. Thank you.

    On Notes in Portuguese says:

To clarify, you asked Carbon to have it removed and he contacted me. I only removed it at his request and would never had done so if you had simply contacted me directly. Let's not mislead others into believing that owners can make the moderators remove VINs posted by our users.

Wayne, I believe the owner was likely referencing the ad for his car for sale referenced in post #67.

How petetic are you to offer a car for sale that you do not own or even have in commision. Come on people.

GSVII good to hear all ended up ok and the LaF is fixed again. Hope it did not cost you anything. Enjoy as little mileage as possible :)

The damage to the VW is minuscule compared to the LaFerrari

Pathetic and sad indeed! The doofus try to "allure" and muster as many interested parties as he can for a car he doesn't own but whose owner COULD be contacted somehow!
In a nutshell he's counting chickens before they hatch....P-A-T-E-T-H-I-C!
Glad to know that that LF is repaired and that nobody got seriously hurt!
    Cheers
    Manny
