PS. the amps look fine and the temp gauge is fine. Time for a relaxing plate of pasta and a good glass of wine.

Quoting an old post but if your trying to find ethanol free look up your area on Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada they even have a phone app to help you find gas stations.

If you have to use an additive Startron seems to work much better than others.

Having an issue with the turn signal stalk being sloppy on my 1987 car. Does anyone know of a replacement? I assume the part was not specific to Lamborghini...

    Thank you!

Here's a tip - if you have a warning light flashing, do not ignore and have pasta and red wine. A few days later you may find yourself missing a flight, while stranded at a petrol station, when the alternator has failed...:)

I got one from an old school mini. Got in sent from England about $125 incl shipping. The stalk is slighly shorter (which I prefered, looks much better) You do have to relocate the wires in the connector shell (mini is wired differently). You also either transfer the cancelling cam or have the one on the replacement machined (Countach steering shaft is larger) If you are interested in going this route, I can dig up my receipt and give you a part #

    Thank you guys!

I found that the internals are identical to the Triumph TR7 Lucas switch. Exchanged the internals and have a perfectly working turn signal stalk now.

That is a shame. Was there any noise coming from it? Weird if the meter showed a constant good reading.

    Hope its fixed soon

Mine has both also. I may be missing something here but given an embedded antenna in the glass why the need for an external one?

Not to change the subject, my 88 came with a front wing,i believe it came equiped as such from the factory. I owned the car since 06 and my friend owned it since 89,the original owner only had the car for a few months , just curios if lamborghini offered this as a factory part or in fact just a Cannonball run look alike . Any ideas?

Not a factory item. Done for lots of reasons...aesthetics ?, front bumper requirement, etc.

Good to hear, its hideous and resting in my attic as we speak. Also remowed the rear wing, like the car better wingless. In fact i love it. previously owned 2 Diablos,a91 and 01,the latter a great driving machine, but not even close to the countach in charisma and feel good factor.

    Totally agree. Very cool.

Different topic. Anyone ever had to get their Countach towed? I haven't. And I hope I never do. I just don't drive mine enough but I probably don't drive it as much as I would because I worry about what would I do if I broke down in the bull. How do you do it? Any issues? Anyone have a picture?
