The only issues with the 348 are electrical and gearbox. Other then that, they are a damn good car. I have never understood why they get such a bad rap.

The climate control system is a joke, but it's no big deal to live with. Great car. I would pick a 348 spider over a 355 any day of the week.

And don't forget, the 348 spider was the first convertible 2 seater since the Daytona ;)

I just recently bought one here in San Diego and I love it. It came with all the service done on a regular basis with 27k on it. Serviced by Bobileff Motorcars regularly since 1997. It has been a SoCal car all it's life. Red over black.

I love the way it corners & sounds. It sounds like a bear......an angry bear!

Well fellas, I turned traitor and picked up an 83 euro spec 308, it'll be some time before I get a 348 now, but I'll suffer in silence

    Congratulations on the 308.

May I ask if the price was in the 348 region? Reason i ask is the 308 over here in the UK are so expensive now, going from around £55k - £70k, approx $90k - $100k USD.

A really good 348 from £35k upwards, approx $57k USD.

A low mileage (600km) 1990 348tb just sold yesterday at RM auctions in London for £75k, thats approx $120k USD.

    1990 Ferrari 348 TB by Pininfarina | London 2014 | RM AUCTIONS

    And a 1989 200km 328 GTS sold for £156k, approx $250k USD !!!!!

Mine has 43k miles, non existent records, runs great, drives great, everything works, it'll need a clutch soon, and a major. Took a risk but I'm happy

I have a yellow 1989 348 tb. Hard top coupe yellow with 70k on her. And black 360 rims I drive my car every day and maintain it myself. Always change all oils every 3000 miles even the tranny. And have had only 2 problems a split radaitor return hose. $8 and 20 min to change and a. Bad spark plug wire. $200 for a new set of pretty blue plug wirers and about 30 min to change. I love my car. It runs mint. It's fast. Loud. I have a set of exhausts on it that sounds like an f1 car A custom made wing that looks like enzo himself made it. And it works really sticks the car to the road. Anyone who says a 348 is a ****ty car. Is a fool. Any ferrari or any car can break down. Look not only one space shuttle fell outta the sky but two. And they cost billions. You think a new 300 thousand dollar ferrari is above breaking down. Think about it. Come up to me and tell me my 348 is a junk. And ya just might wonder how you wound up on the ground when you wake up ;-))
