OK. Since most of you don't know where my house is, I thought I would try to start this list once again. I plan to email out the address, a map and contact information the week of the event. If you don't put your name down, I won't know to send you the information. Please also list what work you want to do.

We don't want to see half of the party show up a Vince's that morning.

Is the work queue all filled up with requests?

I have two items on my 355 that will eventually need to be addressed:
    - Brakes & Rotors (I think need replacing) I have both from that great deal Ferrari of Atlanta had. Plus all the fluids and bleeder.
    - My convertible top, has issues going up, currently I just leave it down. Had the guys from Fast Cars look at it during my belt service, but didn't find much, as they only put an hour into it. Might just be gummed up and could need a flush.

Guys let me know if any of this would be interesting.

    Peter,

If you plan a belt service or major on the 328 I would not change fluids yet. Brake fluid you can flush clutch too if you don't plan on changing it.

Going to do the belt service. Does that have anything to do with the fluids? I'll need to drive it to Vegas to register it next month and I'd like to get the belts done and fluids changed before that. I don't notice any leaks anywhere and it only has 2000 miles since the last major (though several years) so I am being lazy any am only looking to do belts and fluids.

You certainly can just swap out the coolant but I like to do the coolant with the belt service. The best time to get slippery nasty old coolant all over the front of the motor is when you got the t belts off. I don't like getting coolant on tbelts. I treat t belts like clutch plate surfaces...clean! You get coolant there because you should be checking the water pump and maybe rebuilding it depending on time, miles and feel. There is also the Tstat which is a maintenance item. Behind that is a hose going to a coolant manifold. That hose should be routinely changed too. Basically you make a mess all over the place. If you just want to swap coolant to get you by for a while that's fine.

You can change all the fluids, except for the coolant which will have to drain again during the major.

We are going to need more jack stands and floor jacks. Some more hand tools would be helpful too.
