Data points from FML. Left column is the most recent; right column is from 6 months ago. Obviously the seller's car has lower than average miles, rare color and is very nice, so YMMV. Image Unavailable, Please Login
IMO....those numbers can be somewhat misleading, as they are average asking prices with little insight into the car details making up that average.....plus, the CS is thinly traded, so adding a low or high priced variant can skew the average considerably..... Real world knowledge.....There have been 2 here at a local dealer over the past year + ........ both had bidding wars for them, and both went for considerably more than those posted FML numbers..... And, more importantly..... other than some higher mileage examples, or examples with questionable pedigree, I don't know of ANY low mile, clean CS's that are trading that low..........
Conveniently forgot the Scud and 16M.. 499 16M's, and low #'s of Scuds. But it's all good. This is a beautiful CS no matter what else we're comparing it to... and Nero is pretty rare, so we'll see!!
Scud was not a true limited production car. In fact, the 430 coupe was not even made at the end, as all they were making was the scud..... only about 350 CS's brought to the states (about 1,200 worldwide) vs about 2-3x that for scuds... 16M is a limited production car, but a racecar thats a convertible makes no sense, at least not to me.
