Rare folding soft top for Ferrari 348. Very good condition. I personally only used it twice. Once to test fit / test drive, and once when I was caught in a light rain on a mountain cruise, and I had left the hard top at home, which is what I had bought it for. There is a small gap between the window and the top when installed. I understand this is normal. Top worked keeping interior dry when parked, and no rain came in during the drive (was a light rain as you can see from ground in photos) Comes with a cover, which is clearly a HARD top cover, but it enables you to stow the soft top expanded behind the seats like the hard top, or folded on the package shelf, which is what I did since I needed the leg room. Storage cover has a few impressions in the material from storage, but no holes. $1950. Pictures show: Top installed on car. Top in cover, on package shelf. Top in cover. Top out of cover unfolded. Underside of top partially unfolded. Top fully expanded. Max Speed warning sticker. Top front install bracket. Ferrari logo on cover Dents on cover. Rear install pins. To answer a question I have been getting...the indentions pictured above are NOT on the top itself...only the cover.
May be worth adding that the part you are selling is in fact a legit Ferrari part for the 348, part number 63380800 Ferrari Parts : 63380800 : 63380800 FOLDING TOP - FMS Car Parts http://www.ricambiamerica.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=63380800&osCsid=4040bd45150a96195326ed595fa78934&x=0&y=0
I've been thinking about one of these for awhile. Would love to reverse engineer it and make it more affordable. I never drive her in the rain unless it's a pop up storm. and never have the top in anyhow. But this would serve a good purpose. Looks good on the car too.. maybe my bonus will be bigger this year.. Good luck with the sale.
I'd buy every one of them I could at $300 Have seen some new ones for $2500.. I honestly haven't seen any for $300. The used ones I've seen are between $1000-$1500.
