For the TdF Blue 355 Spider? Since it was a no reserve sale, I'm guessing it was genuine. And since it was a SoCal car, and not located in Timbuktoo, a fair number of people must have had the opportunity to see it. Thoughts?

The launch car from Geneva was this color combo and available in Indianapolis a short while ago, owner was wanting a little too much for it, never sold. All original paint interior etc.

I have seen the car this past 2 weeks driving past on my way to Manhattan Beach. Wondered what the asking was for it. Well bought I'd say.

Absolutely! This is the price range that seems to be moving these cars right now.

It sounds like a price that a desperate individual might settle for, but sounds light for a dealer. I'm assuming belt service probably necessary, but valve guides OK on a '99.
