    Hi Gary,

He was going to come over but since I need a battery tender anyways I might as well just it one and save him the hassle of having to drive over to mine. I guess it will arrive in 5 days..hope everything works and will keep u posted

Any reason to do this once in a while like rebooting your computer or maybe not a good idea?

Possibly. I have the battery switched off enough times to do work on the car not to have considered it an issue!

Brett- Will not hurt her or do her that much good. Like Aldous said, she gets shut off by your techs often enough during maintenance.

    Terry:

I've seen that long-winded Ferrari procedure before; wonder why it differs so much from the Workshop Manual (Section A 3.28), below?

I've used A 3.28 many times, without any obvious problems

Steve- It differs in other WSMs, too. The procedure I wrote was a combination of several WSM procedures which covers them all. Probably an extra step or two in there, but like Aldous said, it works and the extra key strokes do not take that long. At one point I knew why they were all there, but....

Note that tech bulletin was written in 2005 and the 360 WSMs all date from 1999-2000, so who knows why they pumped it out. I have seen that drive cycle as a billed item on records I have reviewed for owners. That procedure is actually dangerous on most streets.

So its working again!!!thank you evryone- battery was charging for 28 hours in a row then i just pluged it in did the reset cycle as Taz suggested and all good.
Observations- whilst 10 minutes at idle the exhausts did release more water than usual
I seem to hear kore metallic pops and burbling sounds
And when locking the car i realized that there is a orange triangle..not quite sure what that could mean ):

The orange triangle shows when all four (six?) direction indicator lights are lit.
