    Just curious if we have anyone from 'Down East' NC Ferrari owners on here? We are currently building and will be relocating to the area by next summer. I'm excited to finally have a large garage/man cave being designed from scratch. My guess is there are some folks with vacation homes in the area, or very close by.

    My guess is he's referring to Wilmington area, but not sure. I live in Charlotte.

    Wilmington here. Down east does seem to describe it.

    I knew the Down East question would be asked. I think it is considered from Morehead City/Beaufort NC area east up to the Cedar Island ferry so includes a lot of small coastal towns in between. We lived in Wilmington for several years before work and school took us to the Triangle area and are looking forward to the more laid back lifestyle once again.

    Please come back to Wilmington, you can even live just outside of it. We need some more Ferrari people here.

    Stella, which is near Emerald Isle (about 20 miles West on HWY 24 from Morehead City). There is a Testarossa (sp?) owner in Emerald Isle but not sure if he follows FC.

    The Piedmont officially ends in Raleigh. Folks around here use the term "down east" for pretty much anything east of Raleigh.

    The strict definition is the areas where High Tiders reside.

    I need to checkout a job in Masonboro on Saturday. So (if the weather is nice) there will be one more red 360 Modena in (or near) Wilmington this weekend.
