There's usually a section of show cars behind the shopping center where a lot of newer cars are displayed. Not sure if it's officially part of the Concours, but they have some kind of registration in the cars.

No personal offense intended in light of their earlier decision to not accept a 328: Let the craziness begin.

Ok, facebook has Jim Glickenhaus as acquiring the Ferrari modulo.
NOW THAT'S reason to attend if it comes.

What time are all the cars on display until? I know awards ceremony is at 2PM. Will cars still be shown at 3-4PM?

Great show but was really surprised not to see a P1 or Laferrari.

I overheard that green testarossa is the only green one one the US and is ex Benny Caiola.

Also loved the red Poesche GT3 with the child seat in the back.

    Here were my five favorites:
    1. The two Paganis (each gets half credit)
    2. The Lamborghini Aventador out back with that crazy paint job
    3. 1926 Bentley 3 Litre
    4. Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale
    5. Lebaron-bodied Chrysler Sedanca Limousine

I went to the show. Nice show but parking is absolutely horrible. Too many non-car people just looking for something to do. IMHO Caffeine and Carburetors is better.

There's a LOT of people that go to both events, in New Canaan it's mostly enthusiasts. I overheard a lot of "what is that?" and "that thing costs like $200,000!" today, because after all, it is just another Sunday for shopping at Americana Manhasset.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome day! The weather was perfect, the hosts put on another first class event and the cars were nothing short of fantastic. I wish I had the time to have cruised more through the back parking lot, it looked like quite a few beauties there as well. That green Testarossa is either not the only one in the USA or not ex Bennie Caiola. A member here had/has that car and "its real and its spectacular". Some of the winners were the green Datsun 240Z, the '55 chevy, the 1912 Ford Model T speedster and the '37 ex Walter P Chrysler, fresh off a Pebble Beach class win, one off Chrysler Imperial. Many more for sure but I can't remember them all. It was great seeing some old friends, familiar cars, and some new ones too. How about dwhite's black boxer - and it was the only one there!

Its going to be a loooong winter...:(

Tony I must have missed you I would have said hello. You are right, for example the 918 was the same one from New Canaan last month.

We are car people and we hate statements like what is that and stupid price quotes into the wind.

I personally liked the 1969 Mercedes-Benz SL pagoda and the orange Miura.
