I plan on it I have a couple of places where I want to take some shots but I keep forgetting my camera when we go out. Here's a few for now. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jeeze, John....Do you want me to come over and back it out of the garage for you looks nice, probably nicer in the sun............ And, modern technology is all within a cell phone - no need for a separate camera.
weather sucks here today. Rained very heavy this morning. Cloudy and humid now. No sun for picts. Anyway, didn't mean to take the thread OT.
Cloudy overcast makes for the best shots. Direct sun unless it's really early or late in the day usually looks like crap.
it looks so clean and pristine with the factory wheels, and dirty and cheap with the black wheels, imho Doesnt matter if its a ferrai or a ford truck, it looks dirty " serenity now "
Eric, As one of the few people in the world who has a car the same color as yours, I have to say that johnk's pic reinforces my my idea that black doesn't do it for this car in this color. Sorry. However, a corollary of 'The Golden Rule' is: The one who pays chooses.
19's look great on these cars but I personally couldn't wait to pull them off my 348 after purchasing a set. Mine where heavy and handled terrible. Light weight 18's and sticky tires are the way to go for me.
Same style wheels in 18" and silver/polished. This was last summer. They are now gold/bronze. I usually don't like black wheels but I like them on Eric's blue 355. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for all the feedback. I knew that there would be a few who didn’t like them. For me, the stock wheels on my car looked too pedestrian. Took it down too Cars & Coffee over the weekend and got nothing but praise. I’m sure the black wheels have a lot to do with the gap in generations. If my dad was still around, I’m sure he too would have given me **** for black wheels. We always had a good time agreeing to disagree over car stuff. To answer a few questions. I didn't notice a difference in handling or acceleration. The steering seems a bit more visceral. Perhaps I shouldn't be commenting as I am not a current F car guy, tho I have a lot of love for the marque. [I have been. Perhaps again someday.] When I look close I don't care for the wheels. As soon as I back away I appreciate that they make the car look wonderfully agressive and fill out the wheel wells without being silly. If they were shiny I suspect they would look too large on the car and would make it look really blingy. Since he has the stock wheels for any time he wants it back stock, what's not to like? It is always a challenge to try something new and I give it an A-. It would be an A+ if I loved them really up close [where few dare tread anyway]. Nice.
I like them!! I would have left a polished lip or perhaps a stripe along the barrels edge to break up the black tire from the black lip, but otherwise.... the wheels look great!!
Eric, Nice wheels. Did you purchase the wheels recently? I clinked on your link and they said they do not fit on Ferraris but made for Porsches. Curious to know where you got your wheels from.
Eric, I have the same wheels as you...but in 18" version. I think the black wheels are OK. Image Unavailable, Please Login
