lol and it's true...this year was very quiet. The only F1 I could hear from my place was the 2 seater doing demo runs.
I totally agree. F-1 the brand still has its place firmly at the top of Racing. Are the cars still the fastest most technical in the world no. but to win the World Championship still is a huge acheivement, that all drivers have dreamed about and want. if it keeps up the path they are on now - it may not always be like that, But the one thing that F-1 has that none of the others do is its been around the longest - un broken history since 1950. ( technically since 1921 ) and has THE Greatest names .... Fangio, Clark, Stewart, Rindt, Lauda, Andretti, Villeneuve, Senna, Prost, Schumacher... none of the others have those names or can boast of the same history.
I am just a regular Fan. I have been since the 90's. I started watching F1 because the cars were so different and sounded really great. I am not going to say it is turning into a SPEC series, but it has changed for the worse for why I liked watching it in the first place. I miss: 20,000+ RPMs and the sounds they made Pit Strategy - tires and fuel A fixed rear wing that did not disappear at the push of a button to get around someone A pure petrol engine - no electric BS that gives 30 extra HP once every lap I like technology to some degree - but Come on man! Bernie - this fan says quit messing with our F1 cars!!!!! my
