Getting a bit long in the tooth and am having trouble with steering effort on my beloved 512TR.
Anyone try or know about the electric power steering kits offered? They are supposed to be installed on the steering shaft under the dash

Thanx John, you are the US expert on this ! :D

The EZ-Powersteering is my best enhancement in the 512TR ! Fabulouis steering, it can be set to a speed on which it stops helping ... perfect !

Monitors the speedo signal. I've got mine set at 30 mph. Seems right for me.

Have your alignment shop adjust the caster. If dialed in ....more than OEM spec, you will experience a dramatic reduction in steering effort. The only downside is the car is more sensitive at very high speeds.

This is a cost effective way to lighten up your steering while keeping your car stock and original.

Won't do anything for parking or low speeds. I have wider tires in the front and rear which means a larger friction patch.

    Mel,
Totally agree with you! Car to heavy to have unassisted steering.
