Hello there. I have been searching about BBR vintage Ferrari's and it seems there are some real experts here.

I was hoping you all could help me verify my latest purchase. At least the first model BBR219C seems to be the wrong model with the right certs / box etc. so I'd like to figure that out before I go back at the seller.

    Thank you for your time!

    Here is the first car.

    -BBR219C
    - 1961 250 SWB Light Blue
    - Model does not match the pictures. 1) No roof scoop 2) mine has chrome fender louver or duct treatments instead of painted

Is this model fake? Is it a different BBR that got switched

Are these models real / authentic? Thank you very much for helping a new guy to BBR. Maybe the seller just mixed the one 219c light blue up on the wrong base?

Ok guys, seller has offered a discount 40%~ or a refund. He was very nice about it.

I'm wondering if I can get BBR to swap me the right model (it appears bbrstore.com has in stock) as it seems this was a mistake by BBR. Other than that I really can't find another 219c for sale :/

I must say thanks to everyone here who helped. It's so nice to be able to consult experts for help, but when you are worried you may have just been ripped off it's comforting to know not only the bbr expert information but also that someone is willing to help. It really does mean more than you know.

I will be sure to get some photo's up of my collection asap.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that. I was concentrating on the photos too much. Well I'll be keeping an eye out for this model 219c with the roof scoop and no chrome.

Great help guys, thanks again. Any recommended 1:43 photo galleries on of 250 / vintage Ferrari's I should check out?
