    Cars, guns, and girls :)

Back to the topic: I think this is an amazing build. You worked hard and you deserve to enjoy it! Sell it when you get tired of it and had some fun with it. It is way too early in my opinion!

Honest question. Why do guns appreciate? Are they build in limited numbers?

    How much is a M60?

If you aren't enjoying it because of money, just get rid of it.

Why post this now AFTER I bought my 599?

However, having made lots of purchases from you in the past, I would have asked for a considerable discount!

Sad that you are thinking of selling a beautiful vehicle. Personally, I would hold it and look to dish off something else, but that's just me.

You can NEVER have enough guns.

    Period.

    Cheers!

Anything made after 1986 is no longer transferable to the public.
The m-60 can be as high as $50,000 right now depending on condition and make.
With tax, mine was $50,000 :)

So you and i can only by pre 1986?

Had not idea a machine gun could be that expensive. How much is a new one if you could buy it?

There are plenty of new ones for sale and they are pre-1986 and very expensive.
    I just missed one.

Hard to call that new but they are almost "un-fired"

Interesting thread...I've been in the market for 458 for a while now, and surprisingly during the process sold my business as well. Although I'm sure our situations are different, I know sort of how you are thinking. "affording" it is probably not the issue, it is more about the mentality of feeling of not having the cash flow like before, but a big pile just sitting in comfy investments that is enough to live on the rest of your life. Personally I'm not selling my toys, and most likely I'll get involved in another business after a little break, 42 is too young to sit on the beach all day I think...and now you have me thinking about getting more guns!

You nailed it. But..........I'm not really selling my toys, I'm shifting them and haven't sold it yet. This site is very good for bouncing ideas off very nice people. No piss and vinegar here. I have received a lot of help here on many subjects.
BTW I hope I never have to work again but I'm 55

Sell it now, while you can still make out ok. There will always be Ferrari's available to buy. But machine guns (for public consumption) seem to be dwindling.

Remember, the 458 is a mass produced expensive cookie cutter sports car. It will depreciate to 360 values eventually.

Only you know your financial position. If you feel it will be a burden on your retirement then it makes sense to sell it. Too bad I didn't get a chance to see it at my cars and coffee before you got rid of it.
