Are you looking for GTS or GTB? Or either?
Archiscapes (Chris) and I are friends, initially through him drawing the home in which we now live; later through the car passion. He came into town yesterday for some 'work work' and as a sideline to see, drive, and experience a 3x8. His enthusiasm is - as this is his first purely fun car purchase - like all of ours was at one time. Rekindles mine to be honest. We'll be driving the 328 today over winding lake roads in the semi-searing Alabama heat, top off, marginal AC doing little, but smiling plenty. He will be more firmly hooked than ever. His sights are set on the 'right' Euro: red, tan, QV, GTS. The nicer the better. Merely bumping this thread to generate any more prospective cars for this Fcar fan to become an owner.
Chris: I have a very nice '84 308 Euro and live in Panama City. While it is not for sale we can make arrangements for you to see and discuss my experiences. If that would help contact me through Ferrari.chat and we will set up a mtg. Also, if you find a car you want to check out I have lifts and would be glad to lend you an eye. I am a retired engineer with a collection that I maintain and have restored.
Well Rich, I think between your 'ride n' drive' experience with Chris and my constant nagging, he has finally scored his dream ride! Landed a car in your state that fit many (most) of his requirements. I'll let him tell the story in due time, but it appears we have another huge Fcar fan in the ranks! Congratulations Chris!
Congratulations Chris! Let me know when you can bring it over or I will come see you. Perhaps for the next last Saturday Cars an Coffee at Pier Park?
I'm sorry, I don't quote actual sales prices. However, the car was sold for very close to the asking price.
