Vettel is very, very good, way better than Alonso IMO, he is by far the best driver in the wet wich says a lot about his ability....Even if he is having big troubles to cop with the new cars , he remains fast and he as been improving along the year...pretty sure he will be at his best next year, so will Kimi, and i'm pretty sure Allison will make apretty decent car....Ferrari is back, the **** is going down the drain and we are ready to cheer and win again!!!!

It tells you all you need to know about Sergio the bean-counter. He had to fire Luca, knowing that given his personal friendship with Fernando, this would very likely result in Fernando leaving. arschloch.

Good post, great argument and in 2-3 years this will likely be looked back upon as 100% accurate. For Ferrari's sake I hope its not the case though. Forza.

IMO, attributing the demise of Montezemolo to any F1 related causes is overestimating the importance of F1 in the real world.

Alonso was always worthless when his team wasn't cheating. You know that fact now. You all do. Even the Alonso apologists that have helped Ferrari go 6 seasons w/o any sort of championship.

Massa gave them their last (constructors) and only lost the drivers by 1 point after he had already crossed the line.

Alonso did crap the years he was there.

Maintaining your narrow-minded viewpoint and failing to see the bigger picture that is developing in front of your eyes will get you as far as Alonso has gotten with Ferrari - nowhere.

Surely there comes a time when you're so late for the party that it's simply not worth going?

That just means he says "hello" to Vettel when he sees him, unlike all the other drivers he sees whom he cannot even be arsed to say "hello" to! ;)

Ferrari had an inferior car with a top notch driver.....now, it will be an inferior car with a not so top notch driver. How is this going to help SF to climb back to the podium and championships (manufacturers and drivers)....??

Fred is an insubordinate and is poison to a team. It takes a team to win, not any one man. They want a team.

Really hope vettel ferrari combo prove everyone wrong here. Alonso may be brilliant in the car but he's poison outside. I think vettel will bring ferrari back to the top of the ladder by next year. I think his personality will work well with the new management.

I can now fully support the scuderia after several years
