"He still has more hair on his eyebrows than I have on my head!"
Actually, if the forecast is any good (!), that would seem to be exactly what is going to happen! Dunno if you ran the map I linked above, but here's a better version of what they say is going to happen - Note in particular the rainfall forecast into Monday! It should be dumping soon, then almost dry up for the race, then look out later!..... I'm telling you, not even The Man messes with Bernies schedules. They may have a problem getting to Vlad's place, but they'll figure it out..... Cheers, Ian Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice qualy. LH never seemed to have it fully sorted. Good day for Williams. I wonder how long they will sit behind the safety car if the rain really is heavy. Too bad they did not run the race today.
As I've said previously: "Bernie can't die because God doesn't want to step down and the Devil's too scared to face him!"
I just watched this coverage...Lewis had the advantage coming out of the hairpin (despite a slight lock up, he had the better line and better exit). But then, two bobbles...one at the end of the spoon curve and one after the chicane (chicken cost him the slight advantage plus two tenths. He's fast, but doesn't look as comfortable as Nico...hasn't for most of the three practices and qualifying, IMO. Neither driver had a perfect lap, but Nico drives like he is less bothered than Lewis (this weekend). I think it was Nigel that said he felt Lewis probably could have avoided his crash (in FP3) had he driven instead of mashing the brakes. I know I know...easy to be a Monday morning quarterback, but I had thought the same thing when I saw it. I hope we get a good race, but I fear that weather will prevent that.
I agree. Nico has been looking strong this weekend and lewis uncharicteristically edgy. Maybe he doesn't suit this track or the crash unsettled him/balance of the car. Who knows. Hopefully he will come on strong in the rwce
